Fastenix was founded in 2009 by Mike Wayte and Victor Carlson. With over 40 years of experience in the Sheet Metal Fabrication business, they saw an opportunity in our new global economy for a streamlined supply operation - same quality, superior service - at a fraction of the price for their clients. Together they have assembled a team of ISO9001:2009 certified factories to bring high quality, RoHS compliant, ASTM standardized products to the North American market. Fastenix operates with the highest level of integrity and honesty, and is always customer focused.
Mike Wayte was NW Regional Manager for R.C. Dudek from 1994-2000. After R.C. Dudek was acquired by Penn Engineering (TM), Mike oversaw all NW Operations including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. In 2003, Mike founded Fabmatrix, representing a number of premium component lines. Each of these lines quickly became the top sellers in his markets. Mike oversees sales and operations in North America for Fastenix, and is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
Victor Carlson was President of CEO of R.C. Dudek, one of the largest PEM(R) distributors. In 2000, he oversaw the sale of R.C. Dudek to Penn Engineering (TM). He has returned from retirement to partner in Fastenix. Carlson is former President of the National Association of Fastener Distributors (NAFD).
